International Travel for Schools and Colleges

Aztec Travel trips are FUN! It may be a medical mission trip, a service learning project or have a focus of education but we have a BLAST! I've worked in adventure travel for 20years, I'm a paramedic, wilderness medicine and survival skills instructor. I've led trips in countless countries and seen some terrible outfitters. My goal was to create a business that created and lead trips the students would love, the college would know are safe and well organized. and would respect the environment and people we interacted with.

 What makes us different from your normal international trips? Experience! Our leaders have traveled A LOT. Here's what we focus on:

• Unique trips that are off the tourist trail. Fancy paddle-boarding down the Amazon? Participating in a local festival? Or traveling the Patagonian Fjords in a converted container ship? We'll find that adventure.

• Exceptional organization. Worried the restaurants we visit won't understand 'nut allergy'? Concerned about the quality of the transportation? What happens if someone gets hurt? Before your group arrives our leaders do the entire trip on their own, researching restaurants, checking on travel, even inspecting hospitals and evacuation options. There is no substitute for a personal visit.

• Expert Guides. Our leaders are required to have a minimum of 10 years international travel and leadership experience. Ever considered leading international travel? Take a look at our requirements We send at least two staff members on each trip. Our guides travel with the group the entire time but we use local guides and locally run accommodations where possible.
