Explore Mayan ruins and caves, visit a chocolate farms, hike to remote waterfalls in a jaguar preserve and snorkel on a remote island in the Bay of Honduras. Plus you'll get a bonus stamp on your passport with a day trip to Guatemala and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tikal (also film location for the Star Wars movie). Day 1
Punta Gorda
Head South down the humming bird highway to the small town of Punta Gorda. Get introduced to Belize by relaxing to jungle sounds in a family run lodge and enjoying exceptional local cuisine.
Day 2
Chocolate

Visit a local Cacoa farm and discover where this amazing product starts its life.

Enjoy a lesson in chocolate making and sample the results!
Day 3
The Jungle

Hike in the Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve. Keep your eyes peeled to spot an elusive Jaguar!

Spend a magical afternoon tubing through the rain-forest!
Day 4
Waterfall Hike

Enjoy an optional pre-dawn hike for another chance to spot the elusive jaguar.

Hike to Ben's Bluff for an amazing swim at three different waterfalls.

Coral Reef Snorkeling

Travel by boat to Laughing Bird Caye National Park to snorkel the best coral reef in Belize!

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Placencia!

Relax at the beach to start off the New Year with or explore Placencia before traveling to the beautiful Black Rock Lodge.

Spend the afternoon relaxing in a hot tub at the Lodge or canoe down the river.
Day 7
Mayan Caves

Swim in to the famous Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave and explore the magical Mayan relics preserved in the fossilized mud!

Enjoy a coffee and souvenir shopping at San Ignacio before a relaxing evening at the Lodge.
Day 8
Guatemala

Visit the Mayan ruins at the World Heritage Site TIKAL where Star Wars was filmed for a bonus passport stamp.
